GUEST REVIEWS                                  Halloween at the Inn November 08, 2017 We spent Halloween night at the Inn and enjoyed seeing the kids in their costumes AND the host/hostess as well. The evening was cold so we watched from the windows and treated ourselves to homemade cookies and hot tea. Breakfast was WONDERFUL! I've never had better French toast. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we do plan to return! Weekend of peace and quiet November 05, 2017 It was the best choice we could have made for a B&B. Such good hospitality and the quiet which we were there for was great.. Having a chef it was a joy to eat breakfast. Beautiful Victorian style home September 27, 2017 Loved this B and B. Our innkeeper was amazing and friendly. She also happens to be a culinary trained chef. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. The home had plenty of downstairs rooms for relaxing. We got an excellent recommendation for dinner, which thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was amazing. Would stay here again if we get back this way. Great for a family get together August 31, 2017 We stayed in the Nest which was perfect for our group of 8. Be forewarned that it is on the third floor though, so it may not be best for someone with health or mobility problems. It is a great location close to downtown, dining , shopping and local attractions and right next to Eisenhower park and all its recreation opportunities. Our breakfast was delicious. A most enjoyable stay. Rodeo intown August 19, 2017 Always nice atmosphere. Rodeo going on at time of stay. Very nice people in town. Adriane and Jay always have time to talk. We always stay here when we go through the area from Denver. Part of our Kansas staycation August 01, 2017 Very enjoyable stay. After a long day in the car, we were able to relax. It was nice to be able to use the two bikes to explore Abilene. Breakfast was wonderful and another guest played the piano. Only reason I had a lower rating for value was because the only room available for 3 was the nest, which was more than we needed and cost a bit more. Delightful, Comfortable, Hospitable, Historic!! July 24, 2017 I wish I had been able to stay in Abilene longer to stay more than one night as I would have loved more nights at Abilene's Victorian Inn B&B. What a wonderful experience it was! Adrian and Jay were the PERFECT hosts: welcoming, friendly, engaging, helpful, personable. And Adrian is a knock-out chef! The breakfast was outstanding - delicious tasting and pleasingly presented in this historic mansion. Adrian and Jay have set up such a welcoming environment. Best place to stay in Abilene July 08, 2017 We have stayed here before during past reunions and have never been disappointed. Adrian and Jay are very gracious, the food excellent and they can direct you to the best food and attraction sites in and around Abilene. It is in a great old quiet neighborhood and If you like that old Victorian atmosphere of days past, this is the place to stay and no more expensive than your local Holiday Inn. Abilene Victorian Inn July 07, 2017 This is an historic mansion with roots deep in Abilene history. Dwight Eisenhower's best boyhood friend lived here. Every detail of the inn's décor has been carefully selected including vintage magazine's on the parlor's table. The breakfast was a gourmet delight as the owner is a certified chef. The cost was less than the chain motels on the interstate.....genuine personal hospitality. Fabulous breakfast, hospitality, and comfortable lodging in an historic gem! July 01, 2017 Our stay at Abilene's Victorian Inn exceeded our expectations in every way! The property is an historic gem that has been lovingly maintained and appropriately decorated by the friendly owners, Adrian and Jay. Upon our arrival, we were enthusiastically welcomed and given a tour of the house. It was clear that Adrian and Jay had made every effort to learn about the house and maintain it's authenticity. The bedroom we stayed in was the smallest (at our request), but was plenty big enough. Best inn in Abilene June 19, 2017 Innkeepers Adrian and Jay are the best. Our room was fantastic and super comfortable. Enjoyed the historical aspect of the inn too. We suggest you dine in with Chef Adrian's amazing cuisine offerings. The inn atmosphere really encourages conversation with its many quaint sofas to choose from while listening to tunes of yesteryear. Play a tune on the vintage piano Nat King Cole once played and admire the family heirloom China in the dining room. The the breakfast served in the morning is gourmet! Great bed and breakfast! May 31, 2017 We had a wonderful stay and the food and service were outstanding! HIGHLY recommended May 26, 2017 Beautiful, immaculate, comfortable, quiet, and light-filled. So enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening in rocking chairs. Took long walks in the serene neighborhood. The hostess was charming and delightful. And her cooking was beyond delicious. Great B&B May 23, 2017 Abilene, Kansas is a lovely historic town. Actually need a day or 2 to enjoy a walking tour of the beautiful Victorian homes, a historic train ride, and the impressive Eisenhower Presidential Library. The Abilene Victorian B&B is beautiful and spacious. The owner, Adrian, is charming and a gourmet chef. Totally enjoyed our stay. April stay April 27, 2017 We had a simple get away weekend and had several things to see while we were in town. We felt very comfortable and had all the privacy we wanted.
